Lapis Lazuli probably has the richest history a gemstone could have. Greeks and Romans widely used this stone not only for ornamental purposes but also as a medication to cure several diseases include Epilepsy, skin ailment, Apoplexy, Spleen etc. 

Lapis Lazuli is said to activate both the third-eye and the throat chakra. Its primary chakra is the third-eye chakra. Blue stones also tend to activate the throat chakra.
